June 6 Part 2

Afternoon Street Meeting of June 6

It was a joy yesterday to take the gospel again to the streets of Thessaloniki. This time we went with Pastor Takis Korianitis and Bro. Anestis, both from Zakynthos Island. Literally, as soon as we exited our parked car, a man approached Bro. Takis to try and sell something. The conversation quickly turned spiritual with the man admitting that he could not be saved because he was a thief. Bro. Takis told him of the love of Christ for his soul and that Jesus had loved another thief once, the one by him on the cross. The man was overwhelmed at the simplicity of the gospel and received the tract with the phone number. Before the day would be finished, Bro. Takis would be shocked as well at the openness of the people in this city to the gospel. A door of opportunity has evidently been opened here.

Evening Meeting Concerning the Building Contract (June 6th)

THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED. WE HAVE THE KEY. RENT HAS BEEN PAID. TOMORROW CLEAN UP WILL BEGIN. It will take a miracle, but we will attempt a Bible study there on Sunday. We are waiting on some final paperwork that must be done before the electricity is hooked up. The water is already there. Nothing could have gone more smoothly. We are indebted to the Spirit of God who brought this to pass, to those who prayed for this, to the faithful supporters of this work that enabled this to be financially possible, and to Pastor Korianitis who unselfishly signed the contracts by faith for us in order to make everything legal with Greek authorities. May Jesus Christ be praised! Bro. Logan, Bro. Korianitis, Bro. Angelo, Bro. Anestis, and Bro. Logan’s son Benjamin gathered together inside the building and prayed together for the Lord to sanctify and use the building for the glory of Jesus Christ and the propagation of His word. Bless the Lord!

Bro. Angelo and Bro. Takis having dual conversations about the word of God at the same time.
